Committed to responsible forestry

As an actor in the forestry industry that’s committed to sustainable forest management, it’s our duty to manage the forest and to look after the hectares in our care, in accordance with stringent standards and the forest management plans which we implement in all our concessions after they have been approved by the relevant authorities. These forest management plans offer an appropriate legal response to the relevant government ministries and are very useful forest management tools. They are used to demonstrate our commitment to three areas: protecting ecosystems and biodiversity, promoting social well-being and helping communities and respecting the habits and customs of the forest peoples and the communities living beside our concessions.

This initiative also leads us to develop, wherever possible, research partnerships which could make a contribution to improving our operational approach to and our scientific understanding of the forest and the huge variety of life it contains.
